Green Fields Hair's Mix

A blend of twelve oils, each pressed in our own facility in Jordan. Rather than building around one or two headline ingredients, this mix draws on oils traditionally used in hair care across the Levant and beyond — several of which are difficult to find outside the region.

What's in it

Arugula (Rucola) Oil — A staple of traditional hair care in Jordan and the wider Levant. Naturally high in sulfur compounds and used in hair preparations here for generations.

Pistacia Atlantica (بطم) Oil — Pressed from the wild terebinth tree native to the region. Rare outside the Levant and long used in traditional hair and skin care.

Cress Seed Oil — Rich in linolenic acid and, like arugula, naturally sulfur-bearing. A traditional ingredient in Middle Eastern hair oils.

Onion Oil — Another naturally sulfur-rich oil, widely used in hair preparations across the region and South Asia.

Black Seed Oil (Nigella sativa) — Cold-pressed from Jordanian-sourced seed. One of the most widely used oils in traditional care across the Middle East.

Castor Oil — Thick and rich in ricinoleic acid. Gives the blend its body and leaves hair with a natural shine.

Coconut Oil — Light and readily absorbed, valued for how easily it works through the hair rather than sitting on top of it.

Safflower Oil — High in linoleic acid with a very light texture, keeping the overall blend from feeling heavy.

Sesame Seed Oil — Raw and unrefined, naturally containing vitamin E and sesamol.

Carrot Seed Oil — A natural source of beta-carotene and vitamin E, with a distinctive warm aroma.

Lavender and Sage Essential Oils — Steam-distilled in our own facility. Both are long-standing ingredients in hair preparations, and together they give the blend its scent.

How to use

Warm a small amount between your palms and work it into the scalp and lengths. Leave for at least thirty minutes — or overnight, wrapped — then wash out with shampoo. Once or twice a week suits most people. For dry ends alone, a few drops smoothed through after washing is enough.

How it's made

All twelve oils are produced in our own facility in Amman. The carrier oils are cold-pressed on German machinery without heat or solvents; the lavender and sage are steam-distilled. Nothing is refined, and nothing is added — no fragrance, no colour, no preservatives.
