Radiance Revival Serum

A facial oil serum of five ingredients: jojoba, moringa, lavender, frankincense and rosemary. Formulated and filled in our own facility in Amman.

We have been pressing these oils for twenty-two years. This is the first time we’ve kept them.

We make everything in it

Most cosmetic brands buy their oils from suppliers and blend them. We press the jojoba and the moringa ourselves, and we steam-distil the lavender, frankincense and rosemary in our own stills.

That means we know which batch each ingredient came from, when it was pressed, and what is in it — because we made it. After twenty-two years of pressing oils, this serum is the first time we have put them together ourselves rather than selling them for someone else to formulate.

The base: jojoba and moringa

These two carry the serum, and both were chosen for a reason.

Jojoba is not actually an oil — it is a liquid wax, with a structure closer to what skin produces itself. That is why it absorbs readily and sits lightly rather than forming a film. Ours comes from jojoba grown in Jordan; the full story is here.

Moringa, known historically as ben oil, was the perfumers’ choice for centuries precisely because it resists going rancid longer than almost any plant oil. It is rich in oleic acid, light on the skin, and it is what allows this serum to keep without preservatives.

Vitamin E

We add tocopherol — vitamin E — as a natural antioxidant. It slows oxidation in the oils, which is how an oil-based serum stays fresh without synthetic preservatives.

It is the one ingredient we don’t press ourselves, and the only addition to the formula.

The three distilled oils

Lavender, frankincense and rosemary, steam-distilled in small batches here. They give the serum its scent — herbal, resinous and clean, with none of the sweetness of a synthetic fragrance.

They are present at cosmetic-safe concentrations. This is a finished product, not an essential oil you need to dilute.

How to use it

Two or three drops, warmed between the palms and pressed into slightly damp skin after cleansing. Pressing works better than rubbing.

Use it alone at night, or in the morning under sunscreen or makeup. If your skin is oily, start with two drops at night only and see how it settles.

What’s not in it

No water, no fillers, no silicones, no synthetic fragrance, no colourants, no synthetic preservatives. Five oils, all of them ours, plus vitamin E.

Registration and production

Registered as a cosmetic product in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Produced in an ISO 22000 certified facility and tested by independent third parties. Halal certified.

Storage and notes

• Patch-test before first use, as with any new product.
• Keep away from the eyes.
• Store in a cool, dark place with the cap closed.
• Colour and aroma vary slightly between batches — these are unrefined natural oils, not standardised ingredients.
