Pure Rose Hydrosol – The Real Distillate
Not water with rose essence. The rose itself.
Walk down any beauty aisle and you will find dozens of bottles labelled "rose water." Most of them are exactly what they sound like: distilled water with rose fragrance or rose essence added. Some contain glycerin, preservatives, or artificial colour. A few are little more than perfumed water.

Our rose hydrosol is the pure, aromatic water captured during the steam distillation of fresh Damask rose petals. When steam passes through the petals, it collects the plant's water-soluble compounds along with micro-droplets of its essential oil. That vapour is then condensed back into liquid — and that liquid is the hydrosol. Nothing is added. Nothing is removed.
This is why true rose hydrosol smells soft, layered, and slightly green — not sharp, sweet, or synthetic. And it is why it feels gentle on the skin where perfumed waters can sting.
Why It Costs More Than "Rose Water"
Producing true rose hydrosol is slow and resource-intensive. It takes an enormous quantity of fresh petals to produce even a small amount of distillate, and the petals must be distilled quickly after harvest to preserve their aroma.
Commercially produced "rose water" skips all of this. It is cheap because it is built from water and fragrance — not from flowers.
