The process of steam distillation cinnamon bark to obtain 100% natural and organic oil makes it high-quality therapeutic-grade oil. There are no toxic chemicals used while extracting or preserving this oil, which makes it safe for edible as well as cosmetic use. Since cinnamon oil is strong in nature, it’s combined with cold-pressed oil to make it ready for use. Cinnamon is a versatile ingredient that is used for culinary purposes, especially in sweets, all around the world. Similarly, the sweet, florally, and spicy taste of cinnamon oil makes it ideal for use in cooking and baking. It is often added to teas to enhance their aroma and effectiveness. Additionally, it can be used as a natural diffuser oil to refresh the air and mood. |
It's very strong - the toothpicks I soaked in this oil burn my lips a little bit, not uncomfortably. I put some in a plastic bag with toothpicks and I smell it every time I'm near the cupboard. Store the oil in a glass container unless you enjoy the smell as much as I do.
Amazing smell and flavor! I put a teaspoon in a spray bottle of vinegar for cleaning. My house smells like a Christmas candle!
Totally forgot about buying this a few years ago. Bought this for cinnamon toothpicks. Not good for that application. Maybe decent for candy or something else. Just not toothpicks.

Holy Cow! Whew is this stuff potent. If you want in-your-face cinnamon flavor, this will do it. I'd previously bought a dropper bottle of a name brand alternative, and after 4 or 5 droppers full I barely got flavor in a mixed can of coconut milk that I use for coffee creamer. Thinking this was about half potent, I put a small glug in and whoa! Overwhelming. I'd say a 1/4 of the amount and it would be fine. Now to find vanilla in the same potency and my new replacement coffee creamer will be perfect.
Just what I was hoping for. This is also used to make red-hot flavored candies. Note to those making cinnamon toothpicks: make sure you don't purchase toothpicks made from bamboo. They don't absorb the oil like the regular wooden ones.
OMG this stuff is awesome! A couple drops go a long way. Amazing in a diffuser, awesome for toothpicks. I use it for all kinds of things. Be warned, it will eat through most plastics by itself, it shouldn't be used if you don't know what you're doing. Do not let it touch anything without diluting it first, preferably in a carrier oil. I put a little in a what I thought was a cobalt blue glass vial, that ended up being plastic. The vial was in my pocket. My Pocket in those jeans still smell like cinnamon.
